TO WORK SAFELY ON

CIRCULAR SAW,ROUTERS
AND TABLE SAWS.

ALL THE ADVICES ON THE GUIDE COMES FROM EXPERTS IN
EACH PROFESSION AND THEIR YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

1- Circular Saws

A circular saw is a portable mechanical tool used in DIY jobs to cut large pieces of wood, plastic, metals, concrete and other materials like tiles and bricks. It can make curvilinear and straight cuts. It is very popular among DIY enthusiasts and professionals for its high sawing capacity and high precision. Whether in a workshop or in a construction site, it is an effective instrument for carrying out various tasks.

* Think about weather

Always take into consideration the weather condition before starting work, because most machines of this kind are not protected against the water jet, since they have ventilation openings on the housing. so don't work in the rain .

* the blade

Choose the right blade for each type of material, to save time, and also not to overheat the machine. a blade with a missing tooth can destabilize the machine when cutting, and also it will give a bad cut.

* Protective cover

If the circular saw blade is not well covered, there will always be a risk that the teeth of the blade can hook easily with the user's gloves and it will make a dangerous accident. therefore make sure that the blade is well covered by the protective cover.

* Vacuum cleaner

Fine particles are very dangerous on the lungs. it is essential to connect a vacuum cleaner, or at least a filter bag that meets filtration standards

* Care about machine position

The machine tray should be on the fullest part of the board. otherwise the machine will fall at the end of the cut

*Plunge cuts

Never make plunge cuts with a circular saw, always start a cut from the edges. there is the plunge saw that does this job.

*the cable

The cable must always be behind the machine, and this is the case for all electric machines.

*Supporting

It is very important to remember to support a board well before thinking of cutting it, otherwise the user and the machine will fall.

*the direction of rotation

On all circular saws there is an arrow which indicates the direction of rotation, never forget to mount the blade while putting the sharp part of the teeth that attacks the material

*depth

Always try not to go far beyond the board you are cutting by the blade, this will only allow a limited number of teeth to work and it will limit the life of the blade, and the cutting speed will be slow. otherwise there is a risk that the machine will overheat

*clamps

Clamps are essential especially for cutting small pieces of material. at the moment of a kick back, even the strongest man in the world cannot stabilize the materials

*Guide

It is advisable to use the guide that comes with the machine for a nice straight cut. or we can use a straight bar to perform the same work but on condition that it is well fixed by clamps

* this is what is needed to work with the circular saw

2- Routers

The router is a power tool with a flat base and a rotating blade extending past the base. The spindle may be driven by an electric motor or by a pneumatic motor. It routs (hollows out) an area in hard material, such as wood or plastic. Routers are used most often in woodworking, especially cabinetry. They may be handheld or affixed to router tables. Some woodworkers consider the router one of the most versatile power tools.

*Router bit

Two thirds of the accessory rod must be in the machine chuck,

*no nails or screws

you have to pay attention to the board you are going to work on, there must be no nails or screws, so as not to have the accessory damaged

*skill for conical bits

Always start with a straight cutter before moving on to another with conical dimensions so as not to have any difficulties in the progress of the work

*against the direction of the clock

Never follow the direction of rotation of the router, as a consequence we will have a bad rate of progress

*Both hands

Use both hands to guide the machine. one hand on the board will pose a risk of touching it and also a risk of destabilizing the machine

*Clamps

Clamps are essential , even the strongest man in the world cannot stabilize the materials :)

*this is what is needed to work with the routers

3- Table Saws

A table saw (also known as a Sawbench or bench saw in England) is a woodworking tool, consisting of a circular saw blade, mounted on an arbor, that is driven by an electric motor (either directly, by belt, or by gears). The blade protrudes through the top of a table, which provides support for the material, usually wood, being cut.

*Stick

Use the stick to push the wood in order to avoid that the blade touches the fingers

*Clamps:

The use of clamps is the best solution for cutting several pieces of wood at the same time

*Blade cover

In any case, you should never leave the blade bare, take care of your fingers

*Cylinder cutting

When cutting a wooden cylinder, the best solution is to hold it in two hands. the cylinder will move easily if you use the clamps

*Depth

Always try not to go far beyond the board you are cutting by the blade, this will only allow a limited number of teeth to work and it will limit the life of the blade, and the cutting speed will be slow. otherwise there is a risk that the machine will overheat

*Closed fingers

pushing the material with closed fingers is more secure than opening them

*this is what is needed to work with table saws
